As the founder of this international non-profit organization, Vivian developed the vision into a fully functional humanitarian organization with major impact on the health, education and well being of hundreds of thousands of vulnerable women and children on three continents. She orchestrated a highly functional team and board in strategic planning, integrated marketing campaigns, social media, business development, branding, fundraising, celebrity-drawing galas, and creation of internationally protected trademarks and copyrighted content. Results: We delivered on the dream of empowering vulnerable women and girls in the developing world to achieve their fullest potential through everything a child needs to thrive: health care, education, financial stability, legal rights training, and empowerment training. Just Like My Child Foundation's Girl Power Project™ is focused on empowering 1 million girls in the developing world to stay in school, avoid early pregnancy and disease, and live their dreams.

As Deepak Chopra's work and philosophy gained attention and acceptance, he became deeply committed to communicating his work in a forum where individuals could learn "experientially." As a full-time employee, and later a consultant, Vivian was responsible for the strategic planning, development, and profitability of a division devoted to an entire range of live speaking engagements for this best-selling author of Ageless Body, Timeless Mind and nearly 30 other best-selling books. 

Through Vivian's efforts, within eight months operational and marketing expenses were reduced by two-thirds and attendance at seminars was tripled. As a result, these events ascended from significant loss makers to highly profitable independent events. A full strategy was employed, incuding: Development of Strategic Alliances Achieved national awareness for, and attendance at, seminars by developing key partnerships with major corporations, audio and video publishing giants, Random House Publishing, and nationally affiliated adult education corporations.

Best-selling author and heart disease researcher

Dean Ornish, M.D.

When Dr. Dean Ornish, author of the best-seller, Reversing Heart Disease, needed help coordinating the many activities surrounding the launch of his new book, he turned to Glyck Communications. 

Vivian masterminded the development of strategic alliances that involved such diverse companies as ConAgra Foods (developers of Dr. Ornish's Advantage10 line of meals and snacks), PBS, HarperCollins Publishers and many other invested parties. Rather than a bunch of different companies doing their own uncoordinated thing, the result was an integrated synthesis of marketing efforts, a consistent branding message, and increased visibility and success for all parties involved. 

Obtained final funding and distribution for Dr. Ornish's nationally televised PBS program, bearing the same title as his book. 

Worked with key parties to develop audio and video product surrounding the PBS program and secured national and international distribution. 

Coordinated his 25 city national book tour to include highly-visible public speaking engagements, in-station pledge drive appearances at local PBS affiliates. 

Ensured open-lines of communication and clear directives for all parties involved with the media tour by holding weekly conference calls with PBS contacts, audio and video distributors, publicists, etc.

The Provident

Provident Life Insurance Company was a small company with a big name. Everyone thought they had heard of it before, but in fact, they were confusing the company with others that had strong brand-name recognition, like The Prudential, or Provident Mutual.

They were breaking new ground in the individual health insurance marketplace and needed to create their own identity. Wall Street was watching this aggressive small cap with increasing interest, but all of Provident's communications materials showed a diffracted organization with a lack of professionalism and no clear identity to carry it into the big leagues.

Glyck Communications reviewed the overall strategy, look and image of the organization. With the buy-in of upper level management, she orchestrated the creation of a strong brand identity that reflected the strength and tradition of the organization while projecting a progressive, cutting edge insurance company whose major focus was customer service. Provident Life Insurance Company evolved into The Provident: Making a Difference Since 1889. 

Once the brand was established, Glyck Communications crafted a major communications strategy that alerted investors, customers and agents that The Provident was ready for primetime. Stock values dramatically increased, and touting their new look and image, they moved quickly into strategic partnerships that helped them transform their reputation from slow and outdated to a hi-tech, state-of-the-art benefits partner.
